DIY Vision board
Happy New Year everyone! :)
Did you guys know that today is national vision board day? lol I didn't and I didn't know it was actually a thing.
Well I just so happened to finish my vision board for my new home office, and wanted to share it on Instagram and someone was awesome enough to let me know!
I wanted to share the details on the blog!
So I actually had this cork board since high school....and... well we won't talk about how long ago that was....
Anyway! It's been sitting in a closet with a bunch of old high school pictures pinned to it, so I took them all off, and wanted to paint the frame.
I painted the frame yellow and and fixed the hooks in the back so that I could hang it horizontally. So simple & fun to make!
I have a subscription to A Beautiful Mess' messy box, a monthly scrap-booking supply box. These gals totally get it when it comes to creativity so I used a lot of cute pieces in my vision board. I also included some family pictures, then I printed some of my favorite pics from Pinterest. Pins of other people's creations that really inspire me, and have the same kind of feel that I want for my brand. I moved the pictures around until everything seem to flow together.
Truth is, it isn't always easy to stay motivated and creative. So having a visual motivation in the office is key for me. I am super excited for the new year and can't wait to share it with all of you!
Do you have a vision board? What do you do to keep your creative juices flowing?
