Glow- Candle Packaging Design
assignment: product design
details: design a product package, that will be in a box that we will build, product must have 3 flavors/scents, product must be influenced by a famous artists style. choose the name, design logo and 3 designs for each scent/flavor that are cohesive yet distinctive. must include: research & moodboard.
my concept: i chose to design a luxury candle package design with the influence of henri matisse. my concept was to create a candle design that used matisse’s line art and paint strokes style of art. i wanted the feel of the candles to feel relaxing. lastly, i wanted it to be something that felt very classy, luxurious, and celebrated femininity.
i used 3 different illustrations to differentiate the scents, plus icon illustrations of the scents that also created a pattern on the inside of the box.
